Thanks for the link. I am interested in the name of the doctor as well.
On my list of member recommended doctors, the closest one to Sanford is in Kissimmee. If interested I will send a PM with info.
Here is the link to the unbelievable long list of symptoms that can be related to being hypothyroid.

Can you also give me the link that you referenced?
Thanks for the info. I will keep that in mind. However, I am moving to Florida in two days. I will be outside Orlando. Do you know any doctor in Sanford, Lake Mary or Longwood areas?
T3 Total they said were 76-181 and for T4 0.8-1.8
What were the lab's ranges shown for the Total T3 and Free T4 results?
I have also lost a lot of weight. My levels are: TSH 1.58; T3 Total 96, T4 Free 1.2; Thyroglobulin Antibodies <20 and Peroxidase is 13
Most of your symptoms sound like hypothyroidism. Even the palps and racing heart can sometimes be due to low thyroid hormone levels. Just because your test results fell within the so-called "normal" range does not mean that is adequate for you. If you will please post your thyroid test results and their reference ranges, members ill be better able to assess your status.
I agree that the symptoms of weight loss and palps are generally more indicative of being hyper; however, I can provide a link to a listing of hypothyroid symptoms that also show that both can also be related to being hypo, which is what I expect a Free T3 test will confirm.
So, I suggest that you should ask the doctor to re-test your Free T4 and also run a Free T3 test. No need to test TSH again. Since hypo patients are also frequently too low in the ranges for Vitamin D, B12 and ferritin, I suggest you get those tests done as well. The only thing further I have for now is to get your doctor to run a 24 hour saliva cortisol test for you (four samples through the day).
When you have further test results, please get a copy of the results and post here, along with their reference ranges so that members can help interpret and advise further. If you have any difficulty with getting your doctor to do the testing, and possibly need another doctor, I happened to notice there is a doctor listed in Paintsville that is supposed to be a good thyroid doctor. Let me know if you are interested.
