Can anyone interpret me my result, I got my result today but the doctor will be attending on saturday, i want to ready myself, what does this mean?
Both lobes of the thyroid gland are normal in size.
The right lobe measures 41.84 mm x 11.67mm x 13.76mm with an estimated volume of 3.52ml.
The left love measures 41.45mm x 14.17mm x 10.20mm with an estimated volume of 3.13 ml.
It has homogenous granular echopattern.
There is an isoechoic nodule see in the inferior segment of the right lobe measing 3.59 x 4.00mm. Another oblong hyphoechoic nodule is likewise demonstrated just inferior to the right thyroid measuring 5.11 x 3.42mm.
The isthmus is normal.
The surrounding vessels and structures unremarkable.
There are enlarged cervical nodes seen in both sides. It measures 3.26 and 6.11mm in the left and 6.74 and 12.16mm in the right.
Intact soft tissue.
THYROID NODULE, RIGHT.
RULE OUT ADENOMA.
RULE OUT PARATHYROID NODULE VS. ENLARGED NODES.
NORMAL LEFT LOBE.
CERVICAL LYMPHADENOPATHY, BILATERAL.
SUGGEST CLINICAL AND LABORATORY TEST CORRELATION.
