That's a step in the right direction.  They'll be able to see what's going on in your thyroid.  It's just as well to discuss both blood work and U/S altogether.  Good luck...

Okay, good.  Then he's seen it and knows that something is wrong.  We can go over your results on Monday.

Well, instead of guessing, let's wait until Monday and see what your tests look like and which tests they ran.  If your thyroid is inflamed (enlarged), there's obviously something going on, but that could be a temporary symptom, or it might go away after a relatively short time and return later.  Considering your symptoms, I doubt your blood work will come back okay (unless they didn't test as much as they should have).

Has your doctor seen your swollen thyroid?

Thank u I called back up there today and they are closed!  So maybe get results on Monday!  Now if results come back fine but thyroid stays swollen what could be causing that!  The swelling is bad it feels like there is something in my throat!  Thyroid runs in my family but usually not until in their 30's it starts messing up!

Your symptoms do sound like thyroid.  Your doctor probably has the results of the blood work done on Wednesday.  Ask for the results and be sure to ask for the reference ("normal") range on each of the tests, too.  If you'd like to post results and ranges once you have them, we can help you interpret them and be a lot more specific about what seems to be going on.
