had where it felt like I could not swallow the food I had major chest and throat pain and threw up. I tried to drink and got sick again. My neck looks more swollen now then it normally does my doctors refused doing a t3 and t4 test due to my tsh being in the normal range. I am awaiting an ultrasound but in the mean time this can't be normal. I have had this issue before but not this bad has anyone else experienced this?

Hi,

have you had antibodies test done?

Other than the swollen neck, what are your symptoms?

I think it would be worth trying to get a second opinion / trying to find a doctor who would also test FT3 and FT4.  At least then we could know that things are really appropriate.

Are you taking any thyroid meds already?

You could try taking an antiinflamatory (ibuprofen, etc) and see the swelling reduces...

Let us know how you go.
