Back in July my TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh was 7.3. At the time I was on 25 mcg. My dr increased my dose to 100 mcg. A month and half later my TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh dropped to 0.25. He told me to keep the same dose, but skip one day a week. I just had it rechecked (about 6 weeks of skipping one day a week). Now the TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh is 0.01. So, I feel I'm obviously on to much med. He told me to now skip two days a week. Is that really going to make a difference? Can TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh levels go negative? I am also trying to get pregnant. Is it safeSafe driving for teens Safe sex for me to get pregnant. I'm very frustrated w/ that because I've been keeping my blood sugar good for a year now. And then when I wanted to start trying in March, this whole thyroid thing came up. I got pregnant in June, but lost the baby at 6.5 weeks. I really want to concieve/give birth to a baby. My fearFears and phobias is that because I have diabetes and thyroid disorder and a previous miscarriage, I will not be able to. Has anyone gone through this?
I had asked my doctor about getting pregnant with thyroid meds. I am suppressed to less than .01 purposefully. She told me that she would decrease my meds and let my TSH get higher for a few months at a time if I wanted to conceive again. She said that with my low TSH levels, it would be very hard to conceive and if I did likely for a miscarraige. I haven't tried yet, but I thought maybe this would be helpful info.
