Cornfused.........and yes i mean Cornfused.......LOL
My TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh in August was 0.006 and 6 weeks later it is 0.023 for September.....my doctor had me on 200mcg, then in August lowered my Levothroxin to 150mcg..and now as of yesterday she is now putting me on Synthroid , brand name and again lowering me to 125mcg.
QUESTION: If I am hypo..shouldn't she be going up on the med's and NOT down???
I am guessing here but I would say that those levels were done and now show they have risen and thats why the decrease in meds.
Maybe you should give him/her a call and ask what the FT3 and FT4 was and if those test were done.
BUT, your doctor should be testing FT3 and Ft4 and keeping them probably mid to a little above middle of normal range (with adjustments then based on how you feel, some people feel better on slightly higher and some better on lower).
Free T3 and Free T4 should be done too.
Did you have those done?

Low TSH means too much med,
High TSH means not enough meds.
(it is opposite to what you thought).
