I am 27 years old and I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. I'm trying to conceive (just started trying). I take 100mcg thyroxine tablets daily in the morning. I conceived last year but it ended in a miscarriage at 8 weeks. This was before I started the medication. What are the chances of me conceiving and carrying the baby to full term? Is there anything else I should do?
Also, I've noticed that my thyroid gland swells a week before my period and becomes normal after the period starts. Is this normal?
