Tss Opposed to T3 and T4 advice...Please help!

I have hypothyroidism and have taken 50 mcg of synthroid for over 5 years and it's been fine always stable. I have been seeing a pm at a military facility and they took my levels and lowered my dosage due to my tss being low. I've never had a doctor mention tss before only t3 and t4's

Can someone explain what the tss is and if it's numbers determine synthroid dosage. If so how. I've been having bad temperature changes hot n cold and heart palpatations to often now. It's kind da scaring me. I e never had these problems this bad. They changed my dosage to 25 mcg and I'm no doctor so I don't know what to do.

There is nothing online about Tss in regards to thyroid function so whatever your doctor is basing your treatment on is clearly not working well if you went from a well treated patient to a symptomatic patient.

What about Tss? That's what she's basing my results on not the ths or t3 t4. She said my tss is low so she lowered my synthroid dose to 25

TSH stands for thyroid stimulating hormone. This test can help to diagnose and treat hypothyroidism but it has limitations for a variety of reasons. Using TSH alone for treating your thyroid symptoms may leave you undertreated.
