Tyroid eye Disease- Need to find Doctor on east cost

I HAVE GRAVES AND HAD MY IODINE TREATMENT LAST YEAR.
NOW I HAVE TYROID EYE DISEASE, AND MY LEFT EYE IS BULGING AND I HAVE PRESSURE, DOUBLE VISION, AND MY EYE DOES OT CLOSE AT NIGHT. I HAVE BEEN TO OPTOML. AND SHE HAD ME ON TONS OF STEROID, WHICH TOOK DOWN SWELLING BUT SIDE EFFECTS WERE BAD.
SHE WANTS TO DO AN ORBITAL DECOMPRESSION SURGERY-PLEASE SEND ANY INFO ON THIS!
ALSO THE RADIATION THERAPY FOR EYES-I NEED INFO ON THIS.

I AMLOOKING TO GET A SECOND OPINION FROM THE BEST OPTHALMA. PLASTIC SURGEON-OR OPTOMOLOGIST THAT SPEACIALIZES IN TED.-I AM IN MORGANTOWN WV, S ANYWHERE IN PA, OR OHO WOULD BE GREAT-PLEASE SEND DOCTOR AND INFO ABOUT PROCEDURES. MY EYES ARE GETTING WORSE AND I HAVE TOMAKE A DECISIONON WHICH TO DO SOON.

I would recommend my surgeon - but he is in Upstate NY.  However, he was trained at Wilmer Eye Institute/Johns Hopkins in Baltimore which is well know for its opthalmology department.  There are also several good docs in NYC, which doesn't help you much.

You can go online to the American Ophthalmology Association  to search for an eye doc trained in Plastic/Reconstructive surgery or a Neuro Ophthalmologist.  There are several listed for Pittsburgh, your endo should be able to refer you to a good one near to you.  http://www.aao.org/find_eyemd.cfm

I had orbital decompression done on both eyes nearly 2 years ago now.  It has made a world of difference and I am so gland I had it done.  The surgery sounded scarier than it turned out to be - lots of swelling but little to no pain.  I was fortunate not to have had double vision before or after.   You cannot tell by looking at me today that I ever had such difficulty with my eyes.  Often times, surgery is the only real option for GED.

I don't have any info on the radiation treatment, I only know I have read about it as a possible treatment.
