yes - you can find with NT that you may need more... it sounds very resonable to increase and then test
It took 1 grain more of the Naturethroid (3 grains = 195mg) (1 grain at 4 hour intervals 3 times per day) to get the same results symptom wise and blood wise as the old good Armour (2 grains=120mg). ( 1 grain taken twice per day at 5 hour intervals). My daughter was born without a thyroid gland and weighs 120 lbs. 1 year ago at 100 lbs. she was on 100 mcg of Synthroid but was always too low on her t3 level on this medication (conversion issue). Had lots of hypo health issues on synthetic t4 alone. Doing much better now on desiccated (1 year) Nature-Throid as her available (Free) t3 is now kept higher in the normal range with t4 just slightly lower and TSH under 1. Hope our experience will help you in some way.
I asked that same question awhile back. Several said yes you need more.
What I can tell you in my case is it takes awhile to adjust to NT after Armour or a generic Armour product. They are both from pig thyroid powder, but different grades. Enough difference that the body might see it as something entirely new in you again. It has been a challenge for me to adjust to it. But we are all different.
