I was on thyroid med last year and thyroid became hyperHyper-sal. I was told to cutCuts and puncture wounds my 50 MCG tablet in half. Then I just stopped taking it all together. Three months ago I stated taking estrogenHormone replacement therapy and progesterone. I have gain 25 pounds in the last year and currently weigh 169 pounds. I am 5' 5" and 55 years of age. Last week my blood work showed that I was hypo again and my doctor put me back on Levothyroxin (levothyroxineLevothyroxine Levothyroxine sodium) 50MCG. Will I be able to lose the 25 pounds I gained? My energy level is still very low in the morning and I am feeling a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys disgusted right now. Also, while taking Levothyroxin (levothyroxineLevothyroxine Levothyroxine sodium) you need to take it first thing in the morning and cannot have any calcium or iron supplement for at least 4 hours. Does that mean I can't have calcium fortified milk for 4 hours? Or iron rich eggs? Thank you, JoanneBog
