Weight gain & fatigue

I just had blood work done and the results were as follows:

MCV 78 Low, MCH 26.1 Low, Eos  12 High, Eos Absolute 0.6 High, TSH <0.004 Low, Triiodothyronine Free Serum 5.1 High

I am going to the endocrinologist next week.  Are these numbers contributing to my fatigue and weight gain?  What is wrong with me and what is the most probable solution?  Thanks!!

The low MCV and MCH could signal anemia. Have you had full CBC, ferritin, iron tests?

Anemia can cause fatigue as well as thyroid disease.

I am only addressing the thyroid levels.

Which states you are hyperthyroid and T-3 toxicosis which is seen in Graves' disease. This could be the reason for your fatigue and possibly weight gain. Not all hypers lose weight.

The solution for thyroid is to get treatment for the hyper side of the disease.  Either RAI or ATDs.  Surgery is an option with growing, hyperfunctioning nodule or thyroid cancer, which would entail more test to verify.

Endocrinologist will straighten it all out, if a thyroid specialist. That is, endo. works with many thyroid patients per year, most deal in diabetes with thyroid way down their list of thyroid expertise.

Good Luck!
