Okay, I'm still waiting for a few tests to come back, but my Free T4T4 test came back as 0.46, when in May it was at
0.71 (reference range 0.70 to 1.48) and TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh at 0.2 from 0.02 in May (range is 0.4 to 4). It is still suppressed, and
I need it to be to prevent the cancer from coming back. I also had the Free T3, tgab, and cortisolCortisol level done but they
have not come in yet. I'm assuming that the T4T4 test being so low is not a good thing for me. I have been able to stay
awake for 5 to 6 hours at a time, but that's on a good day. I go back to work Monday from having a week off.
Too bad I didn't have the energy to go out and enjoy my vacationVacation health care! Anyway, I will hopefully have the rest of
the results to post in a few days. I can't wait for my ultrasound, which I haven't even been given an appointment
date for yet, but I have been feeling that neck fullness coming back, a little achy in the neck and more difficulty swallowing.
Any thoughts are appreciated !
Usually low FT4 means an increase in thyroid meds depending on the FT3 level.
Illness and stress can also alter your levels.Low FT4 also gives hypo symptoms.
Good luck with your tests...let us know how you go.
I like to be first in line, so I'm bumping! I guess that comes from being a vertically
challenged individual. Maybe I think being behind others, people can't see me?
This is the last time I am bumping this one up. Honest! I hope to be hearing from
my endo tomorrow and getting the rest of my results so the puzzle can be
completed. Don't know if it will make any more sense, but with the missing
pieces, I know nothing!
