Depending on your bad your body is out of balance. It may take up to 6 months to see it return. Were you on and BC for a long period - that may also be why things are thrown off.
everyone is different, but I imagine everything will get back to normal within a couple of months of getting thyroid levels back to normal.
If you get pregnant you need to work closely with your endo because you will need increase in thyroid meds to maintain healthy pregnancy and for the well being of you and the baby.
Your TSH should probably be close to 1.0.
