Hi. Well I first grab my coffee (with fake creamer; growl because I miss my other creamer), and a cig. and sit down. Look for any new notes or messages, space out and then go to my watch list. Chain smoke; Bad me..grrrrrr. Read any/all of my watch list ones and then space while I read those with people that have been there for me. Maybe not right; but, honest. Then I go to the ones where I feel give educated answers of interest as I wake up and try to have some of it sink in threw my thick skull.
Read those grab a few more cups of coffee and a smoke because I'm addicted to them, and skim threw the other post. Commenting on the ones I actually can. Trying not to say to much like now. LOL Pray for situations, read some funny ones and walk away from the computer to do whatever chuckling like a lunatic while my husband looks at me like I'm crazy, and dogs bark just because I'm happy.. LOL Thanks everyone. LOL
For most of you that don't know me I'm a long typer.
Sincerely; Amy
O let's not forget the new addiction of stopping back threw out the day off & on to repeat the above.....
If I have a posted a question I'm really worried about, I go to see if I have any replies. If I haven't posted anything myself, first I look to see if there are any of those "I'm scared" etc. posts and see if I can provide reassurance, as I always feel really sorry for those people, as that's exactly how I myself felt when I first started with all this stuff, until you guys found me. Then I move onto stuff that might be more technical but that I might be able to answer a little. And then I move onto the ones I leave for the experts to answer, but I read them as I learn a lot from them.
I look for easy prey to make fun of. And then I try to convince everyone that I still look like Steven Segal.....the young one, not the older one.
And I love to drop those little "delayed bombs" that gets all of the girls riled up. And then I blame it all on AR.
I normally check to see if anything pertains to what I'm going through and try to assist anyone that I can. I answer what I can and leave the rest to the experts.
Right now I have the flu and there is absolutely nothing on this board regarding the flu, but this is the first day I have been out of bed and able to sit up on my on.
i look to see my mood then i look to see if anything was directed to me ask questions or answer peoples questions about thyroid probs all talk to see how people are feeling
I check for new posts, new answers added, add my 2 cents where I can, I am now loving the tracker, sometimes I leave a journal entry.
I can't tell you how much it helps me to know that others are going through the same thing and feel blessed because I could be in a worse situation. I keep you guys in my prayers for peace and healing.
I skim through the posts to see what's new and read about topics that are related to my situation or are about a topic I hadn't thought about. I read the recent activity column and sometimes send a note to say happy birthday or congrats or good luck. I read the weekly post to see who's having appts, surgery, etc. (I keep you all in my thoughts and prayers). Oh, I now use the tracker (thank you, it's great!) and check my inbox.
Your giggles (hee hee hee) crack me up all the time.
Maybe you could hook up sometime with a hunk with a hormonal thyroid??
Won't that be a trip!
I look to see if there are any big strong hunky guys waiting to.....Oh wrong site.....hee hee, Just kidding! I look to see if I got any responses to people I may have helped, then I go to my profile and then scan the posts. See if anything is related to my situation. I then go stalking, I mean, seeking any of the regulars to see what they are up to. Sounds a bit selfish of me to leave all you guys till last, but ...meh! (shrugs shoulders) Hee hee hee. ;-)
POUR A CUP OF COFFEE - RUB MY EYES AND START POSTING.. lol
I just LOVE those morning surges................ NOT!!!!
I update my mood, check in inbox, then notes. Respond to what I feel up to responding to that day, depending on my energy level and brain capacity. Then look for posts that I can contribute to (once again, if I feel up to it). Fatigue and brain fog are the main reasons I haven't posted much the past few months.
Btw, Utah. What in the everlovin blue-eyed world are YOU doing up at this ungodly hour?
I look to see if there is anything specifically directed to me then look for anyone with specific cancer questions. Then I look to see if there is anyone out there in need of harassment. :-)
I would have to say that I look for responses to my posts.. then the people that are having or have had surgery.. how their recovery is going or any complications we might be able to help them with.. I am just a nosey body and always looking at what everyone is talking about that day!!
