My heart also races sometimes when I have just gone to bed. Perhaps from climbing the stairs HAHA. I just know I'm not a morning person.
check out my journal post I just made. I have been going through the same thing.. I feel lots better now and I think it is some of the lifestyle changes I have been making.

Thanks for responding, no I do not take any calcium. It's just taking so long to get back to normal, that's if normal will ever exist again. I think that 3 yrs. is a bit much to be waiting for results. My dose of synthroid has been changed a few times and yet no change to be found. My heart even races when I am in bed at night. Do you find it hard to get moving in the morning? I take my synthroid at 7:00 am and it still takes me 3 to 4 hrs. before I can funtion like a human being. I've tried taking it at different times, but this time slot is a little better.
I could have written this post! I had my TSH checked today, so don't have results yet. I wake up, go down stairs, and fall asleep trying to read the morning paper. I can't say I feel awful most of the time, but definately don't have my energy back. My heart was beating very fast on Friday, but has gone back to normal. I wonder if the racing heart can make us tired. Do you take calcium supplements? They can cause constipation. I take mine with magnesium included to help prevent constipation.
