Why am I always tired?

Had a total tyroidectomey 3 yrs. ago for papilary carcinoma. Did the I-131 and the rest is history. I am taking 150 mcg of synthroid mon. wed. Fri. and 125 mcg on the remaining days. my last blood test shows that my tsh is showing high sensitivity L0.008 (0.400 to 5.500)    T3  is 101   (94 to 170)      T3 uptake   H43.6  (22.0-37.0)  and my T4 is H14.3  (4.5-10.9) ugm/ml   I am always tired,  can't lose the weight that I have gained, I have leg cramps, and I'm just feeling awful most of the time. My Endo wants to keep my TSH high , It's bad enough that I feel so badly that now I have a problem with constipation. My Endo wants to do another whole body scan next year, ;but right now I am just getting fed up with feeling sick and tired all of the time. How long does it take for your heart to stop racing?  I just can't believe that 3 yrs. after my surgery that I am still not doing well. What's up with that?

My heart also races sometimes when I have just gone to bed. Perhaps from climbing the stairs HAHA. I just know I'm not a morning person.

Thanks for responding, no I do not take any calcium. It's just taking so long to get back to normal, that's if normal will ever exist again. I think that 3 yrs. is a bit much to be waiting for results. My dose of synthroid has been changed a few times and yet no change to be found. My heart even races when I am in bed at night. Do you find it hard to get moving in the morning? I take my synthroid at 7:00 am and it still takes me 3 to 4 hrs. before I can funtion like a human being. I've tried taking it at different times, but this time slot is a little better.

I could have written this post!  I had my TSH checked today, so don't have results yet.  I wake up, go down stairs, and fall asleep trying to read the morning paper.  I can't say I feel awful most of the time, but definately don't have my energy back.  My heart was beating very fast on Friday, but has gone back to normal.  I wonder if the racing heart can make us tired. Do you take calcium supplements?  They can cause constipation.  I take mine with magnesium included to help prevent constipation.
