I have pain in my throat below my adams apple. It seems a little like heartburn or reflux but it doesn't go away. It gets worse when I lie down or sit up. I have cervical misalignment and thought it was related to that. I went to doctor she said I had an ear infection and gave me an antibiotic.

In your case, the AACE recommends to do Thyroid Neck Check:
-Hold a mirror in front of the area of the neck where the thyroid gland is located. This area is just below the Adam's apple and right above the collarbone. (Note: The Adam's apple is not the thyroid location.)
-Tip the head back.
-Take a drink of water and swallow, watching the neck during the process.
-Check for any bulging or protrusions. If any is detected, call a doctor for a check up.

I tilted my head back and felted the spot just below the Adam apple it hurt like kinda sore...please what could it be
There are no doctors her, just thyroid patients.  Since there could be different possible causes for your issue, it would be best to see your doctor.
