Without a thyroid at all

What is tapazole? I never heard of it. I am taking iodine in liquid form from Edgar Casey. It is called Atomidine. It is natural. Since I've been taking it my TSH is going lower and lower and the Dr. wants me to keep decreasing my synthroid.
I think it is stimulating something, but I don't have a thyroid because of a very bad case of hoshimotos thyroiditis.
I had experimental surgury in 1985 after 6 years of strugging with the disease and 16 times the amount of antibodies a normal person should have.
Do you need iodide too? Should I see an endocrinologist for this or should I just keep on what I am doing? It seems to be working me back to the synthroid level I was on for many years. The last 2 years  my levels have been bouncing around like a ping pong ball until my Dr. found out I was deficient in iodine.

My levels were bouncing around for atleast 18 months before I even heard of iodine. I've only been taking a drop of it each day, literally. It's made from kelp, not a drug form.
The synthroid alone doesn't metabolize in my body. Plus a blood test showed that I was low in iodine so my M.D. told me to take very little, but take some. Since I've been taking it I noticed nothing except that now my pituitary gland is signalling for less syntroid,

Tapazole is a thyroid blocker to bring your levels stable and is used in cases over Hyperthyroidism.
I cant understand why you are taking iodine when you are Synthroid.
Its no wonder your levels are bouncing around a lot.
As we get older, our bodies change.
Sometimes we need more meds, sometimes less.
Until you get your levels stable, I'd be cutting out the iodine and getting your 'base' level of synthroid even.
You are taking 2 forms of iodine by takining the iodine and T4.
That could be dangerous and send you into thyroid storm if not monitored carefully.
If you find that the synthroid isnt the job then by all means look at taking a T3 medication but persoanlly I would steer clear of the Iodine.
Many take it (I know) but I am very cautious about it and you really need to know what you're doing to take both.
