a low TSH - what does it mean?
My TSH level is 0.271L IU/mL  but my T4 and T3 are normal.  Can someone shed some light on this for me?  the doctor just said come back in a few months and test again.    I think normal levels are .350-5.500.  Is this why my hair is thinning?  Thanks for any input

Low TSH means hyperthroid.

Maybe your doctor doesn't consider that low enough to worry about. I don't know what normal ranges are. I don't even know what mine is now, or what is was when I was EXTREMELY hyperthyroid.

Do you have hypertension or rapid heart rate from time to time? Does your heart feel wierd when you lay down? Are you losing weight? Do you feel "on edge" a lot?

I would go back and ask him about hyperthyroidism.

For me, T3 and T4 don't mean much, because mine can be right in the middle of normal range and I can be sick as a dog, because my TSH is low.
