acid reflus/thyroid disorders

i have had this going on 6-years,and now i'm been tread for aicd reflus, they tell me that my cheast pain i have some time is heart barn,i have dry skin ,mouth,and get sun burn all the timeand sleep anp.

Get your TGab and TPOab antibody tests for Hashimoto's thyroid disease. Don't let a doctor diagnose you solely on TSH, a pituitary hormone. The antibodies are the best indicator.

Many with thyroid disorders( Hypo and hyper) have acid reflux or GERD.

For people with hypothyroid, many have digestive issues (from low acid levels slowing digestion. Slowed dogestion itself can be reponsible for the reflux.

Many hypos resolve their reflux with proper Free T3 hormone levels in the upper third of the range. That's what helped me, in addition to a better diet.
