adrenal problems

by florinef, Oct 18, 2006 12:00AM
Hello all!

Just a quick survey question.

For those of you who started taking meds for hypo and feel as though you developed adrenal fatigue problems, did you notice any change in the volume or urine output and concentration?

I know this sounds nutty but when I started T4 I began to pee like a pregnanat woman and my urine was so dilute as to be colorless.I remembered this was something three other people noted as well who were posting here about six months back.

It could be explained by chsnges in ADH levels which is where my interest lies.

Is that you jimloW??

No change in urin.  It has been colorless off and on even before thyroid issues.  I do experience the fatigue.

No change in urine color or output.  I take 75mcg Synthroid and since taking the meds, I've noticed I tend to crave sweets more (and the same applies to my mother).

I am a RAI treated Hyper/Graves'. My doctor just lowered my med dose to  88 mcg. Levoxyl.  I have been on 125, 112, 100 and now will start on the 88 after it arrives in the mail.
I crave sweets too!!!!!  Thought something was wrong and was the only one craving sweets - glad to hear that I'm not!

I use to be a salty person - now I am a sweet person ;)
