Is anyone else seeing the advertisement on the right side of our screen today for the cellulite on the back of that ladies thighs?

Sometimes I just crack up at the stuff that is on there.

My computer is running really slow tonight .

So while a screen is loading that lady that looks like a "hag" that turns into a girl that look like a teenager is on the advertisment.

I am practicing my "HAG and TEENAGER" face crunches until the screen I am waiting for pops up.

The cellulite ad with mom and daughter. you notice that when the mom's legs are all full of cellulite , interestingly, her arm and waistline are so slim and non fatty looking.

All I know is my mid section joined in with my thighs to have a cellulite party.

Did you see the other botox one that shows up in lilypad300's post about low calcium?  Wow, that wrinkled woman is quite scary.  She looks like she'd chase you with a rolled up newspaper if you got out of hand.

There is a commercial I have seen a few times that advertises a cellulite cream of some sort to smooth the skin and reduce the appearance of the cellulite lumps and bumps. Has anybody else seen it? I can't remember the name of the product.
Anyhoo, the person in the commercial is a young female, probably no older than 23 and she has skinny legs.  Is that insane?  Did the people who made the commercial honestly think that a WOMAN with some meat on her would believe it would work.
  I'm sorry Peggy that you wasted your money and your time.  Those bad false advertisement people.
The only thing to get it gone is to lose weight.  A battle every woman faces.

I rubbed the tube of that stuff across my behind and legs, just like they did, and I see no smooth skin. Tried it several times, still danged old fat and cellulite still there.

Thanks to you too, utahmomma.  I meant what I said.  You two have been very helpful to many, many people and I'm sure good things will come back to both of you.  The tech, who didn't speak very good English, just gave the pill to me with a cup of water.  He didn't stand back or anything.  As a precaution, I sent my husband to another room in our house tonight and will semi-isolate until Saturday.  I will not see my grandchildren until after this is all over.  I don't want to take any chances.

I just got that look at the beach last weekend from some tight bod female jogger with a chect filled with jello last weekend.

Would a reverse maybe have worked on her? does the wand have a needle to "release " the stuff back out on someone like that?  Great marketing ad I say. REVENGE!!

Did someone say my name?  Sorry, I was distracted by turning the wrinkled woman in to a monster with that little bottle-thingy.  You know, if you erase just the right parts she looks like she has been in a horrible fire.

My RAI was always liquid and always I-131 so I'm not sure about a purple pill.   Here's a clue though - how did they give it to you?  All of my scan and treatment doses were given with the techs standing WAY back, the meds under a special hood, and the geiger counters standing by.  Pretty good clue you should be isolated.

If they just handed it to you or gave it to you in a plastic cup with no precautions then you should be fine.

Amazing they didn't tell you what they were doing.   Grrrr to the medical community (again).

Okay, back to watch how a little bottle turns a woman from looking like she is in her 60s with her cats and brother into a happy 20-something year old.  Amazing stuff in those bottles.   LOL

I am going to guess that is was I123 for the scan The radiologist adviced you not to eat any iodine foods that tells me he/she pumped you with it today.

No I do not believe if it was I123 isolation is needed. You can call the hospitol adn speak to the radiologist dept that did it to get your real answer too.

I hope Cheryl takes off her tiara on this thread. I know she will read it.

FYI - she is the only one that wears the tiara around here. I tried to push my bud AR to slip it on - but he refused!

Your boys are quite handsome, and so is the rest of your family, including yourself.  I also have a question that I am desperate to get answered.  I had a purple pill today, but no one can tell me what it was.  My endocrinologist is on vacation and I am a HIP patient.  It is hard to get information from HIP right now.  They are in a big transition, so when someone is on vacation, it is almost impossible.  I was told to go back to the hospital on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. for a whole body scan and I believe it involves two sessions a few hours apart.  My question is do you have any idea what that purple pill could have been?  Should I be isolated?  The man who administered it monitored my thyroid for about three minutes before giving me the pill and then in halting English told me not to eat or drink for three hours and not to eat shellfish.  No one said anything about isolation.  I don't want to harm anyone in my family.  Help???
