can i have any kind of food?are there any restriction or food which i must not consume/i avoid banana,yoghurt and curd because i feel they cause adverse effects on my health.i am hypothyrodic.

If you have had your thyroid removed then avoiding soy is best so it doesn't interact with the medication. I was a vegetarian but now have had to give up that as the amount of soy I was eating was truly causing big problems with my medication.
If you still have your thyroid then as the site says mostly stay away form the goitregenic types of vegies. Doesn't mean you can never have them again but just not as often as you would.
