affect of hyperthyroidism on brain?

I am suffering from hyperthyroidism for last one year. I have been treated with neomercazole 10mg.
I want to ask that is there any side effect of this treatment on brain since i have problems with remembering the things. Also i want to know that is the any affect of hyperthyroidism on brain power?
