Are you in the U.S? If not, where?
I don't understand this: "25 mcg 10 days ago and after 5 days all Symptoms of allergy reaction and my endo said i have to stop it and he switch me to synthroid 50 mcg ( half tablet per day )" If you reacted to 25 mcg, why would your endo switch you to 50 (1/2 tab/day)? Was it because of different fillers/binders in the tablets?
What type of reaction did you have? Sometimes patients feel worse for a while, before they start getting better, because it takes the body time to get used to the hormones, it's been doing without.
It is always a possibility because most T4 meds contain dyes and fillers. Patients react to some brands but not others. Some brands also contain lactose, to which some patients are intolerant.
To avoid this type of problem, some of our members have switched to Tirosint, which is a fairly new T4 med. Here is what the manufacturer says about it, "Tirosint is the first and only T4 in liquid gel cap form. This pure formulation consists only of T4, glycerin, gelatin, and water. Unlike some tablet formulations, Tirosint is free of dyes, gluten, lactose, sugar, and alcohol."
You can read more on the home page for Tirosint.
