Thyroid antibody results are often in the thousands, so although way above reference range, these numbers are not unusual for those of us diagnosed with autoimmune thyroid disease. Raw numbers are of little importance, basically the test is wither positive or negative for antibodies.
I have extreme readings as well : thyroglobulin is 1939 and perosidase is 265. I have Hashimotos thyroiditis.
Currently seeing and endocrinologist for treatment
Can you give us a history of your issues as it is hard to speculate with no history?
Have you been diagnosed with a thyroid disorder, autoimmune disorder?
Can you please post your last lab results here with the reference ranges.
Then others may be able to respond to your posting.
What did your Dr say about these results? Are you taking any thyroid meds? What were your other lab results? The more information you give us the better we can help. Take care. Remar
