antithyroid peroxidase

my test results showed antithyroid peroxidase 202, could just tell me what this signifies,as im unaware of it at all.

PTO anitbodies refers to your body producing antibodies to destroy your own thyroid...your body considers it a foreign body and is trying to elliminate it.  Hashimoto's is probably the diagnosis, I am not sure how high your antibodies have to get to have a Hashi's diagnosis, but you will probably eventually lose thyroid function.
