armour from cytomel/synthyroid

by monear, Apr 07, 2009 03:06AM
currently I am taking 25iu cytomel 1/2 at a time, and 100iu synthyroid. I would like to switch to 30 mg armour. I really feel bad quick if I miss a dose of cytomel I would rather not be dependent on something to that extent if there are alternatives like armour [which is longer slower acting no ?] what would be the recommended switchover regimine ?

No - the time frame for Cytomel is just about the same as Armour. Are you taking all 25iu of Cytomel at once?

T3 Cytomel or T3/T4 Armour is short lived.
