avacado and hyperthyroid

i have hyperthyroid.. is there any bad impact of taking avacado for trying to gain weight?

I just realized that you have posted 3 different threads......... are you on carbimazole?   That's a medication to stop your thyroid from producing too much hormones.......  The medicine only works if you take it.

Your thyroid is making too much hormone, which is causing you to not gain weight, so you need to keep taking the medication to slow down thyroid hormone production.  That will help you gain weight...

Avocado is good for you; however, too much of any good thing, can turn out poorly.  Simply eating avocado will most likely not help you gain much weight, until you correct the underlying hyperthyroidism.

Are you, currently, on anti-thyroid medication?

yes. i'm taking ceramol 1 table a day.

What are your current thyroid levels?  TSH, Free T3 and Free T4.  

Do you have Graves Disease?

Thyroid Stimulating Hormone     1.510     (lab range 0.4 - 4.7)

I can only find limited information of ceramol...... is this an anti-thyroid medication - one that prevents the thyroid from producing too much hormones?

Do you have symptoms, other than inability to gain weight?  

Have you been tested for diabetes?
