body temperature change

Has anyone noticed a difference with their body temp after surgery or after being put on synthroid? Has anyone had their doctor mentioned this problem as a side effect to either the surgery or the medication?

my fever is back....again. It was 100.2 this morning and is now down to 99.4. I REFUSE to think the infection is back...it has to be from something else. I just has to be!!!!!!!!!

Ut oh .... doesn't sound good ... sounds like another round of meds or another type ... ugh.  Who oversees your thyroid panel .. which Dr., ?? the Endo ??  Don't let it take hold .. you may have to call the surgeon (your favorite Dr) for refill ?

noooo dont mention the dreaded stones!!!! LOL I have been real careful this summer and have pushed fluids more then normal.  I havent noticed a single twinge in the kidney area so..........

I am going to have to admit that the fever is from my neck. The higher my temp goes the worse the pain above and to the right of my incision gets.  I go to have blood work done tommorow for my thyroid panel and I see the endo on the 10th. Since I dont want to deal with the stupid surgeon I think I'm going to try and hold off and see what he says. maybe.......the fever will be gone by then.......maybe ( thinking positive here)

STONES STONES STONES can easily happen after surgery and not be painful yet cause nasty UTI and not necessarily be symptomatic!  Happened to me 12 days post op I passed a 4mm stone virtually uneventfully but then went on to have UTI!!! AND UTI was negative on culture but treated!!!  Maybe another round of broad spectrum for UTI may be a thought if all else shows nothing in the incision dept????  U have strong history of stones ... ??? hmmmmm (kidney stones) ????

Oh, honey, I am so sorry.  Are you still on the antibiotics?  What did they give you and how much?  If you said I don't remember.  Is there anything else that could be causing you to run a fever?  If there isn't a real possibility of that you had better get hold of the dr and let them know.  Have you been to the ER?  Maybe they would be better to you than your drs.  Is there a different hospital you could go to that isn't affiliated with either of your drs?  If you did they wouldn't have any loyalties to them and are more likely to give you a straight answer.

Praying for God to give you the strength to get through this.  To get the answers you need to get better.  And for Him to lead you in the direction that will get all of this done.
