bones

My doctor informed me that I have a condition where the bones are "too good".  I'm not sure if that means I have too much calcium or not but I asked if I should discontnue using calcium and she indicated that I should continue to take them.  I though she said the condition was called "osteoporisis" but am not sure and I'm unable to find anything with that title.

Why did she say your bones are "too good"?  Did she test your calcium?  If you have high blood calcium and osteoporosis, it could indicate another problem.  When you learn why your doctor said your bones are "too godd" you may learn more about the underlying cause.  It could be parathyroid gland issue in which case you are in the right forum.  After you learn more about your blood levels you should re-post.  Good luck!

I think you might be in the wrong forum for this question.  This forum is for thyroid issues.
Osteoporosis is a disease of the bone that leads to an increased risk of fracture. In osteoporosis the bone mineral density is reduced.  Click Health Topics at the top of this age, and look for the Osteoporosis forum.

Also try www.google.com for anything you want to know about Osteoporosis.  There is a ton of it. This is good too:

Good luck to you!
