I have happily been on ArmourArmour thyroid Thyroid for ten years...now with the back orders, my doctor switched me to levothroxine. Will I have any reprecussions when ArmourArmour thyroid Thyroid becomes available and I switch back?
Armour is a combination of T4T4 test and T3 at a ratio of approx 4:1. LevothyroxineLevothyroxine Levothyroxine sodium is a T4T4 test only med. Without the T3 component, you are going to notice a sig. effect pretty quickly. Your doctor should have switched you to another combo type such as Nature-throid or Westhroid or Thyrolar, assuming one of them is available. Suggest you go back and get this changed.
