estrogen pills? r they for correcting menstrual cycle well i only a single pill for that after that my periods were fine then took prolifen for six days during then had ultra sound on 12th day my egg formation was 95% i have 20 to 18 day cycle so how can i calculate ovulation time . other than that i just take thyroxin 200 micro gram daily
Were you on estrogen pills ? - How long if yes, did you take them and what actual BC product was it?
Your husband's sperm is partly the problem here. If you are aware of your menstrual cycle and try to conceive on or around the day you ovulate then you will have better success. There are products you can buy to show when you are ovulating.
The ovulation only lasts around 12 hours , but sperm can last up to 5 days, so if you are regular with your menstrual cycle you can work out the date and try then.
Being hypothryoid makes it trickier to keep the pregnancy going but hopefully if you get some help with thyroid and your husband's sperm condition you will have a baby within the year.
Good luck.
yes he got tested his test was 50% active and mobile 30% immotile 20% immobile
I've been hypothyroid for over 15 years and have had 2 successful pregnancies! Has your husband gotten checked also?
Yes you can get pregnant being hypothyroid. Many women do. It is just that some women have more trouble than others.
You would need to get a full thyroid function tests done. TSH, Free T3 Free T4, and antibodies.
I wonder if your husband has been checked also for his sperm motility? Some men have very low sperm count, or their sperm is not very active. It is not always the woman who is the cause of not getting pregnant. I (seriously) had a friend who married and after many many tests on her body, discovered her husband had had a vasectomy prior to meeting her and failed to tell her he did not want children. I am not saying that is true in your case, just an interesting story!
