can i get pregnant with under active thyroid

hi few months ago i had an over active thyroid but now its gone under active, i'am not on tablets for this as waiting to see specialist next month, but me and my partner want to try for a baby so will an under active thyroid prevent me from getting pregnant

an underactive thyroid will put you at a higher risk for mischarrage if you are not treated for it and your TSH levels are not kept constant below 2.  So my advise would be first get your thyroid sorted - having a pregnancy hypo will also put your baby at risk with brain development - so its very important that your levels are regulated during your pregnancy.

I just had my 3rd baby - having to go through this, he was my first child with me having Hashimoto's disease.
