can i smoke after having high tsh

HELLO.i am 17 years old and i had high tsh level (8.6) and normal t3 and t4.Now after been HAVING  thyroxine 50 mg for a month my tsh levels get to normal(1.2).However my thyroid is a bit swollen and my left gland also.CAN I START SMOKING AGAIN AS BEFORE??

I know of no connection between smoking and your thyroid condition.
