changed med brand

hi i am 34 years old and a male, i was diagnosed as hypothyroid i have been on levothyroxine .150mg for 6 mo. i picked up my perscription from the pharmacy and they changed the brand to levoxyl same dose, should i be alarmed or is this ok, i just remember when the doc was changing doses and it was very dificult for my body to adjust i was wondering if changing brands could cause the same thing??

Was the change  per your doctor.

Many of us prefer levoxyl.

Test a min. of 6 to max. of 12 weeks. There could be a difference in levels due to the switch, after that, levels will be do to thyroid and dose and not brand change.
