Can chemo for ovarian cancer cause thyroid problems?

The sure way to find out is to have the proper thyroid labs done. TSH, Free T4, and Free T3. This is the best way to know if something is going on. Unfortunately I am sure there are many many long term affects of chemo on the body. Most important is the fact that the ovarian cancer is gone! I am sure that wasn't an easy road to travel.
Thank you so much for the advise. It has been a very long road. Sometimes you just don't get enough answers. Is the problem from chemo or is it just menopause or is the cancer back. All through the chemo I maintained my weight, then after chemo I gained 30 pounds in three months I haven't changed my eating habits if anything I eat less. There are all of these different things going on and I'm not sure what relates to what. I guess I need to find a GP right now I go to the oncologist so much that I haven't thought about a different Dr.
