confused about meds
My doctor rx'd generic Synthroid and nature-throid to be taken together. Is that right? I thought both those meds were T4 meds. Can i take them together?
I'm guessing the natural-throid is 1/2grain and that is what the 1/2 stands dor?
My TSH was 3.2, Free T3 3.0 and Free T4 1.15. She like TSH at a range of .2 to 2.0, Free T3 between 3.25 and 4.2 and Free T4 between 1.34 and 1.95. By the labs standards, I am fine. Yet my body doesn't feel fine. In June,2011 my TSH was 2.0 and i felt better.
She has rx'd genric Syntroid .075 once a day and natural-thyroid 1/2 take 1/2 a pill once a day for one week then the whole pill once a day.

Synthroid is a T4 only med. NatureThroid is a T4/T3 combo and sometimes they are rx'd together, but not often.
What are your current thyroid hormone levels? You should be getting tested for TSH, Free T3 and Free T4. Please post your results, along with the reference ranges, as these vary from lab to lab so must come from your own report.
