confused in rural area

Hi, I am 43 years old and have been on Synthroid 75 mcgs for about 7 years for hypothyroidism. In December, my coworkers noticed that I had a goiter in my neck. I went to my doctor and had an ultrasound which showed multinodular goiters. They did a TSH and it showed I was still hypothyroid so they upped me to 100 mcgs. My goiters continued to grow to the point that I am having trouble swallowing and my PMD said I have a bruit and I am dizzy all of the time. I went to a surgeon to see about thyroidectomy but he is telling me I have Graves Disease and am now hyperthyroid based on my t3 and t4 and tsh levels, however i am still hypo in all of my symptoms including my bp and pulse, fatigue, constipation, etc.He tells me that this is not a life-threatening thing but I am miserable and if I raise my arms above my head I feel like I am about to pass out. What do I do next?
