Dr. lupo,
thank you for your advice on the two questions that I posted about my thyroid tests but I have one final question to ask of you. You have told me that my tests are consistent with hyperthyroidism and that the medication that my doctor is prescribing for me could worsen that condition. The one thing that I would like to know is that if I am hyperthyroid why is it that I feel so fatigued all the time? Some days its difficult just to put on foot in front of the other. In my first posting to you I told you that I was diagnosed with cfids and my doctor who is supposed to specialize in this field told me that my ths3 Is not being converted properly which is contributing to my fatigue. I don't what to think any more other than I am just plain tire of feeling sick all the time. I would think that if I was hyperthyroid I would have to much energy rather than feeling so lethargic all the time. What is your advice.

Thank you for your time and consideration,
Kit

I'm not sure if you realize it or not, but you've posted your question on the patient forum, rather than the expert forum.  You might try reposting on the expert forum - or better yet, find your original post and add you question to it.  That will let Dr Lupo know what other questions you've already asked and had answered.

Just for your info, though, I think fatigue can be seen in EITHER hypO or hypER.
