could i be hyperthyrid?

by emmat, Oct 19, 2007 09:54AM
Hi, I have posted before about various symptoms including anxiety and flat mood and feeling disconnected to the world and numbness in my head my results for my thyroid test came back as tsh = 0.13 (0.30 - 4.20) FT4 = 16.8 (12 - 22) and TPO = 4 (50).

Could any of my syptoms (symptoms) be down to the thyroid or am I more likely just seuffering from anxiety and depression?

Doesn't make a difference, anxiety and depression needs to be treated separate, thyroid or not.

Believe my through my personal experience, treatment is not a 100 percent cure-all for thyroid symptoms, especially with anxiety and depression - it could exasperate existing anxiety, depression and the like.
