curious??

I've had tremors and shaking in my hands for a few years.  I first saw my physician about the problem a month ago and I had my electrolytes tested and they all came back normal.  I've been looking into it recently and realized I have symptoms that are similar to hyperthyroidism, but I wasn't asked any of the questions at the physician that would have connected all of these symptoms to my tremors.  I have heat intolerances especially when I exercise, frequent bowel movements, increased appetite, trouble sleeping, nervousness, and fatigue.  I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to have hyperthyroidism without the weight loss, rapid heart rate, and change in menstruation??

I'd guess it is possible to have hyperthyroidism without exhibiting all the symptoms.  I was hyperthyroid for months (because I ignored the symptoms) before being diagnosed, and while I did have weight loss, I didn't have changes in my menstrual cycle.  I'd say the symptoms you describe should at least warrant testing your thyroid levels.  I didn't have any hand tremors until I was diagnosed.  The symptoms don't necessarily manifest themselves the same way for everyone.

Good luck to you.  The sooner you get your levels tested, the sooner you will know what the problem is and will start to feel better.
