do i get lightheaded from taking ptu meds?

i have graves disease i was just diagnosed about 4 months ago im taking 600 mg ptu meds a day and ive been getting very lightheaded, is that normal? also my dr wants to do RAI  in about 3 more months which i dont know if im comfortable with that, do you think i could go off my meds for awhile and then go back on them instead of RAI?

Ok ive been watching those symptoms as well, sometimes i get a mild sore throat but it never lasts more than an hour or so and i havent had a fever

Just a warning about PTU.  The medication caused my white blood cells to lower, making me very very sick.  We had no idea what was causing the problem for a long time.  IF you develop a sore throat and/or low grade fever, tell your doc right away!
