do thyroid pills effect cycle as ttc

Hi, I am taking levythroxine only 50mg. and also been trying to conceive, hence then found out about the underactive thyroid problem. I am normally very regular with my cycle. Do these tablets effect your cycle to the point of being 3 days late? I havent done any pregnancy tests didnt want to raise my hopes up.

no these tabs don't affect your cycle to make you late. Possible you need to do the pregnancy test if your cycle doesn't turn up soon.
If you are pregnant, you'll need to let your dr know and it will be important to closely monitor your thyroid. Usually during pregnancy they monitor fT4 as well as TSH, and try to keep the fT4 high normal level. It is normal to have to increase thyroid meds during pregnancy.
