I was dignosed with hypothyrodism 8 months ago. My TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh was 100+. I was prescribed Eltroxin 100. After about 4 months the TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh dropped to .72 and doctor reduced my dose to Eltroxin 50. But after 2 months the TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh increased to 60.
Why this ? What should be my dose.
Eltroxin does not come in a dosage of 75, so if 100 is too much and 50 is not enough, ask your doctor to change your perscription so that you can take a tablet and a half tablet each day to give you a dosage of 75.
If after a few months that dosage is still not enough, you could try taking 75 five or six days a week and 100 the other one or two days.

That is a perfect TSH and should have been left alone, providing you felt OK.
The doctor should have let it be and tested again two weeks later.
