eye surgery
I'm scared about have surgery on my eyes. Does anyone have any advice
My advice - if you can find an experienced occuloplastic surgeon (ophthalmologist also trained in plastic surgery) to do your surgery, that is your best bet.
I had orbital decompression surgery last March on both eyes and eyelid retraction surgery in November. Both surgeries were relatively pain free. The swelling after both was worse than I expected, but it went away pretty quickly. To me, the risks and fear of surgery was worth the results - no more bulging eyes, no more tearing, no more carrying eye drops everywhere I go. I am very pleased I took the risk.
