feel awful...from the meds...I think

I started the potassium iodide this morning. About an hour later I felt queasy and laid down for an hour.  Now my neck is hurting pretty bad and I just feel like.....yuck.
I dont know if its because I read the info sheet I was given and know what all the side effects could be....or if I really am feeling them.

Someone here.....just finished taking it for surgery. My computer is acting up and I cant get back to past posts. Was wondering if any problems she/he had.

I think it was Jennipenni that also gave me a list of websites about taking it for surgery. Again..I cant back track to find the list and thanks to my two boys....I cant access that area of my pc. grrrr
I will be taking that **** again with supper soon and am dreading the rest of the evening.

I started taking the potassium iodide last Tuesday and I have had the same symptoms...along with a headache!  I felt like there was something moving about in my neck...like that movie...the alien.  Throbbing and just feeling weird.  My surgery is tomorrow so I only have one more dose left to take. My surgeons office did say to call them if I got dizzy or was vomiting.

I know this isn't very helpful but I do feel for you ...sorry

Sue

Maybe talk to your dr about switching to Lugol's.  It can be taken with food, so you won't have to worry too much about the stomach problems.

Sorry you feel like crud.  :(
