follicular neoplasm?

My FNA came back indeterminate with follicular neoplasm. During my consult they said I could do the radioactive iodine to help determine whether the nodule was cancerous. Has anyone else had this procedure done first and are the results typically good or accurate? My second choice was to go ahead and have them remove the right lobe with the nodule but I am so confused on what the correct thing to do is. I am unsure if most with follicular neoplasm means more than likely cancer or not? All of a sudden I am having all kinds of symptoms and really scared of what is going on, everything I read on the internet about this scares me. I finally got them to test my thyroid levels yesterday since I am not on any medicine and my hormones are all over the place right now. Any comments to help me understand would be wonderful!
