I agree with the others, it is very important you get checked by a doctor. Lupus classically presents with a butterfly rash. I hope it isn't this obviously, but you must get it checked out. Is the rash across your nose and upper cheeks by any chance?

I would first go to a dermatologist for evaluation and if he thinks it's necessary you should check for autoimmune diseases (Lupus.....). Difficult to say with only those signs... , you must be seen by a doctor.
