getting better

by smb74, May 14, 2007 12:00AM
I just started taking Synthroid Friday and it is starting to help with all the problems I have been experiencing. I have to go back to the doctors in 4-5 more weeks. I am still taking my Celexa. DOes anyone here have alot of stomache growling (not nausea) because of their thyroid? Does this cause this problem?

Not  sure  about others but I do, growling, bloating etcc...I've pretty much deemed as thyroid because when my levels are good it quits, and my digestive goes back to normal. But you may want to get it checked further.
God Bless:

I know hypo thyroid can cause constipation and bloating. I've also had reflux most of my life and that became worse when I became hypo. Thyroid problems will definitely will cause changes in your digestive system!
